Sound-Healing

Priestesses healing with sistra and harp

Nadabrahma: Everything is sound. As we recall from our physics lessons, everything vibrates; everything is sound. The human body, being about 60% water, reacts sensitively to vibrations or sound. This sensitivity helps us understand why sound has always held a significant place in the healing traditions of various peoples and cultures.

Many of us have experienced how music can touch the deepest parts of our being. This direct connection allows us to employ sound in addressing psychological and psychosomatic issues. Sound therapy is particularly effective in trauma management, helping to process and dissolve both conscious and unconscious traumatic experiences.

In my practice, I primarily utilize the human voice but also enhance the healing process with other auditory tools, such as music with healing properties, solfeggio frequencies, binaural sounds, and instruments like drums, rattles, tuning forks, and singing bowls.

A unique aspect of sound healing I offer is the monochord sound bed experience. Lying on the sound bed, one feels enveloped in a sea of sound as the strings are gently strummed. The instrument’s vibrations pass through the body, fostering deep relaxation and aiding in the release of physical and emotional blockages. This journey is available individually or in combination with Jin Shin Jyutsu or other energy and sound therapies.
